review 1: What the HELL!! This was not my cuppa... that's for sure. That Elle/Ellie/Elizabeth whatever the hell her name was was a cow! I mean she was horrible! The way she spoke to people was disgusting! No wonder the dude mother didn't like her! And what made it even worse was they way everyone endured her blowups and the way she spoke to people. She disgustingly rude. And that Victor dude, boy was too perfect. I was gonna read this series cause I liked the authors other book but nah, I think I will give that a miss.
review 2: I love reading books from new authors. And this one was really good for a debut book.Ellie and Vincent meet twice in one day and Vincent decides it's fate so he pursues Ellie. Ellie has a very broken past which prevents her from being close to... more any man. Vincent also has some family and ex issues himself. Together the two have great chemistry. Both characters are well written and well developed. What I think the author does really well is show the development of their relationship and ultimately falling in love. It was believable and very sweet. I also think she deals with exes in this story pretty well too. A little dramatic perhaps but it worked in the story. And the characters get their HEA at the end.There is a book 2 in this series which I fully intend to read. Can't wait to see more from this author. less
