review 1: This is one of the better guides to bookbinding I found. It has both more interesting and practical bindings than another book I have on the subject. However, it is still a bit hard to follow the instructions. I think one would have to learn binding by watching videos or by taking a class first and then trying some of the different book structures and bindings described. Learning from the book directly is rather difficult as a starting place.
review 2: If this can be somewhat difficult if you are not used to bookbinding, you can find a surprising mass of ideas from this. It's clear, even if for a non-native english speaker, you can find some difficulties with technicals terms. I would have loved a larger introduction to the papers we can use, as well as paintin
... moreg technics she seems to use in her books. For exemple, the "tools" part is a long list of what you can buy, without any further informations. Sadly the only thing you could need will be more time to make some books, and what you are going to write in it ;) less

Lots and lots of types of "books" to make, just not much fun to look at.
