review 1: Wow. I really learned a lot reading this. I didn't know much about Benedict Arnold before and I really liked the way the story was told from the view-point of his wife's maid (even if it made it less factual). I am curious if his wife, Peggy Shippen-Arnold was really as nasty and selfish as the novel portrayed her (I assume so), but she was obviously very cunning and manipulative. A very interesting and enjoyable read.
