review 1: I enjoyed this book, mainly because I expected it to be some mushy silly teen love story. I was quite surprised when I realized this wasn't a love story, but a life story. I laughed, I cried (oh god did I cry at one part) and I found the book created a lot of feeling. I was invested in the story, in the experiences, the ups, downs, and heart break. The story moves fast (which I suppose is good since I would rather be a sobbing mess for a chapter or two, rather than 300 pages)but there is so much emotion crammed into those pages that I couldn't put it down.
review 2: This book was kind of cute. It wasn't what I expected. Connelly was relate-able enough but I was expecting her to fall for Jeremy but I think their relationship still was cute and might end up as a ... morelove connection later. The sad elements weren't too intense so I could deal with it. I really liked the references to fairy tale stories because I sort of do the same thing. It was a nice quick read that shows the truth is the best for everyone. less
