review 1: I originally bought this book because I loved the cover and I saw it on book outlet for only about $2.00. I didn't love it though. If this book was written from Sethies point of view I would have loved it so much more. By it not being written from her point of view you don't get to fully understand why she does the things she does and what she is thinking when she does it. Overall an okay book but it wouldn't be the first book I would recommend to someone.
review 2: I enjoyed this book very much, because I can relate to the main character Sethie in her issues with her weight and because we both live in nyc. At first the book seemed very boring the first few pages didnt keep my attention. I forced myself to continue to atleast page 30 and I am glad i did because
... more afterwards I had my eyes glued to each page, I wish it were longer because I want to know if her and bens relationship esculated or if she wanted to get her back? or did she gain weight and stopped focusing on her weight? or did she get into colombia with janey etc. less
