review 1: A very light and frothy story without any real angst. Alex has loved Roxana for years, she has been engaged for more than five years to George. When he jilts her, Roxana and Alex are "caught" in a supposed compromising situation. I thought Roxanna's character was far too immature for her age. Alex was a shy but caring hero, but in the end, I really didn't care about either. I guess I am spoiled but I want more substance to the characters and the story.
review 2: This book was certainly a surprise. I'd like to give this 4.5 stars, not five, but since that's not a choice..... I started reading this for a few minutes at 2 a.m. when I couldn't get back to sleep. Before I knew it my alarm was going off and I was still reading, so it must have been good.... more It was a pleasure to read about a truly nice hero with no real hangups. Wish her other book was available on Kindle, I'd like to read it. less
