review 1: It was an easy reading romance book. I have never read anything by this author before. I really liked the ending in regards of finding out about who who was and what. I was left at the end feeling like I wanted more and some closure of some of the other characters. Like Joscelines relationship with her father and how that all turned out, and Christophers relationship with his biological father and how that turned out. I feel like I missed something. But all in all, a good read and I would certainly read more of this authors works
review 2: I admit, I'm a romance junkie. Sometimes ya just wanna read something where you know everything will turn out okay, where you can believe true love will conquer all. Westerling's characters are multi-dimensional people, easy
... moreto love and easy to root for. They are intelligent and thoughtful, with skeletons in their closets and dreams they keep secret, hiding unworthiness behind bravado, moving forward with courage and pluck. The setting is perfectly described - not so much as to be intrusive, but plenty to bring you in and allow you to escape to another time and place. A little predictable, of course - romances are like that. But lots of fun just the same. less
