review 1: Honestly its only out of curiosity that i did finish this book and i skipped lots of chapter, at the begining it wasnt so bad and the summary had me interested. But after reading 30% i couldnt stand it anymore.... There was too much if everything, i'm a big fan of romance but this one i wouldnt recommend it to anyone ! It was went on and on i got lost with all the drama that was going and the end... Left me more than perpexle i wont spoil it but it wasnt credible in my opinion. It could have been a good story but sadly it wasnt.
review 2: I loved the first 3/4 or so of this book. The story pulled me in with some mystery and made me curious what this woman was going to do in her new home. The romance grew slowly and definitely gave me hope for the happily ever
... more after. But then things started to get very preachy in an almost offensive way. There seemed to be this sense that although most of the characters professed to be Christian and went to church regularly, only a handful were true Christians... the ones who more closely matched the modern view of being "saved." **spoilers here** And the ending sort of fell apart, too. I guessed who the killer was, but didn't believe the fact that she was suddenly unable to hide her crazy. Her motivation was hollow. And then the burning down the house with the guy able to walk out at the last minute and all, it was over the top. **end spoilers**Still happy to have read this one and only wish the ending was more realistic. less
