review 1: Mark Williams has been searching for his father for two year, the man who had abandoned him and his mother when he was a child. His latest information has lead him to Wyoming Territory where he meets Celia Anderson, a young widow with an infant daughter, Emma.Celia is running a boardinghouse to make ends meet. While many, including two suitors, think Celia should remarry, if only to give Emma a father, Celia is not sure she will ever do so. Her deceased husband was a good man but not the love of her life. With Mark in the picture that could change.A great Christmas story with wonderful characters. You will love Celia and Mark. There is also a little 4 year old boy who Celia watches over that is just adorable. What I like best about this story though is that it just mo... moreved on, there were no arguments, no running away, no mean people to create problems..........the main characters had issues that had to be taken care of and they did so without someone being hurt any more than they had been already. A refreshing change.
review 2: A really sweet and fast romance! In a small mining community a widow is expected to be married as soon as her grieving period is complete. Especially if the said widow has a small baby. However after losing her arranged marriage husband to a mining accident Celia wants to marry for her. She wants a man who can bring her roses in the middle of winter. Can the new carpenter in town be the man of her dreams?A nice purely romantic read. WaAr less
