review 1: I liked the way Madelyn told the story and how the story unfolded. I really want to create a story in where I tell what happened in the past as nicely as this story did. The number one thing that pleased me was that there was not really any sex or much making out involved in this story. As much as I love it, I did not find it complete compulsive meaning irresistibly interesting or exciting/compelling. The pace of the book was kept even and I usually like those kind of books but this book I wish could have been a bit more exciting and surprising. I think overall, this book was a great read. Recommend for ages 14 and up.
review 2: I love Amanda Grace's books. They are full of pure misery and painful situations, and I eat this stuff up! Out of the three she's writ... moreten, I liked this one the least because Madalyn was such a naive fool the majority of the time, but I loved the way the story was told. Amanda has such a fabulous way of presenting a familiar storyline in a completely unique way to make it different. I really liked the ending because it wasn't what I expected. less
