review 1: Loving someone who hurts you everyday is hard to let go of. 'But I Love Him' by Amanda Grace is a very tragic,grasping,and intense novel. Ann is in a relationship, where her boyfriend Connor abuses her everyday out of confusion, which is very tragic. This book is very grasping because the words that Amanda Grace uses, grabs the readers attention very quickly. The intensity in But I Love Him, happens when Ann tells her times when Connor gets out of control and hurts her badly. This book is recommended to those who want a romantic, but sad book to read.
review 2: I think I liked this book so much because it gives important insight on why a victim of an abusive relationship cannot just leave. Many people do not realize how wonderful these kind of relationships usu... moreally start. People don't realize there is no a singular moment to pinpoint when the abuse starts. I gave this book 4/5 stars because it left me feeling like something was missing but I'm so glad this book exists. It is such an accurate portrayal of what its like to be involved in this kind of situation. less
