review 1: I'm being gracious with two stars because the writing did hold my interest through the end. But the idea of the story is just kind of...crap. In essence, girl cons boy through an entire relationship by lying and omitting facts, blames it on love, and then it all falls to crap. I'm not a harsh reviewer at all but this book just makes me want to slap the mc in the head. Lying does not equal love.
review 2: Fucking hated it, why the hell did I start to read the book in the first place, I don't know. See, it's basically like this, the 16 years old girl fall in love with her 26-year-old teacher and the teacher fall in lust with her. The girl naturally doesn't mention her age when they grow to like each other, then she gave him her freaking Virginity and in the m... moreorning after the loser (i.e. Mr. TEACHER) finds out about the age thing, freaked out and dumped her at her home with every intention of walking away. The dude actually retched after learning that he had slept with a 16-year-old. Talk about being a bastard. And it was her first time with a guy. Can you imagine that? So when he was busy kicking the girl out of his lousy truck in front of her home, the cops poured in to take him in for questioning. In the end he was free to go, so he quite his job and move to Boston Asap where he got engaged to some one else and when they meet again 2 years later he says he has moved on and the girl is all mature now and she moves on as well. THE END. Now you can go ahead and mark this book as read because I just told you the whole freaking story worth mentioning. less
