review 1: This is a must-read for teens who have not taken cyberbullying/bullying seriously or who lack the empathy to understand the emotional struggles of bullying victims. Maciel's narrative is redundant and slow at times. However, the pace of the narrative and crucial flashbacks also help readers develop understanding for the bully protagonist Sara. Tease teaches teens to understand empathy, kindness, grief, contrition, remorse, and the cost of bullying.
review 2: Wow. What a book. I didn't understand how much I was going to struggle with this book, or how intense it really was. I had points while reading where i had to put the book down for a few hours because I felt almost disgusted that at points I felt sympathy for Sarah. This is a really wonderful book in the se... morense that it is a learning experience. As someone who would not define themselves as a bully, I still felt that this book could relate to me in the sense that it is a really good example of the domino effect and the effects of how you treat and respect other people around you. I recommend this book, but give yourself time to read it and process it. less
