review 1: Definitely felt like the middle book of a trilogy. Even though the couple in this one is different from the couple in book one, the overall plot really wasn't resolved. Now we know that LaRoux is still corrupt - what a shock - and I'm sure the third book will be about taking him down for good. But this one, plot-wise, probably would not have felt like a whole story for people who hadn't read about Tarver and Lila.
review 2: Loved this story about Jubilee and Flynn. Lots of mystery and excitement. While you did not have to read the first book in the series to appreciate this story, I wish I had re read it or that there had been a quick synopsis at the beginning of this book. I felt like there was a lot I missed because the events that first unfolded were not ... morefresh in my mind. Ready for Corinth!
