review 1: The book is refreshing, a different approach to storytelling especially by an Indian author rather authors. The concept was tempting enough to buy. May be some readers would not like the book as the endings (short stories within the book) were pretty quick which leaves you frustrating and characters were void. But for me it was a pleasant read as I wasn't expecting anything and was fascinated by the twists introduced by two completely different writers. Though, I agree some of the stories were pretty ordinary and the main plot might leave you perplex. But it is the plot which deserves the applause. As a reader, I am more driven by characters rather than plots but this book was completely opposite.
review 2: This is the first time I have read this type of book a... morend I liked it. The concept of stories within stories which are telling the main story is somewhat new (to me at-least). The authors had a very fine grip on the entire book and at no point of time it feels like things are going off hand. Although it is not a page turner but still I read it till the end and most of the book I finished in one day.The linking of various stories, their characters at the end is something great. The suspense was maintained till the very end and all the time I was thinking it is a horror kind of an ending, but this turns out not to be the case. I won't ruin the suspense by hinting at the climax, so do read this book, its worth a read. less
