review 1: Me encantó!
review 2: My actual ratung would be more a 2.5. This book was well written and easy to follow, the plot was a little slow (as with most first books in a fantasy trilogy) but it was enough to keep me reading and mostly interested. The heroine was engaging and likable, the situations she found her
... moreself in were believable and mostly realistic despite it being a fantasy/historical. I haven't yet decided if I will keep going with the next book. The story was good and interesting but I'm not sure which direction the next book would go. My curiousity was not peaked as I finished this. less
