review 1: I'm not sure why this book doesn't have more reviews because seriously it's AWESOME! Although the relationship between John and Hannah was a bit odd at the start it was rather slow burning (apart from the sex lol) and I like slow burning. The intrigue was perfectly set and although the author doesn't expressly say 'he dun it!' You know about half way through who is to blame for Sharon's murder. The Edna twist was a bit of a shock and I didn't see that coming at all. I adored Ty and even Bradshaw had his moments to the point where I didn't want the cops to get him lolI was even half hoping her real father was the murderer because he was a real arse hole.Thanks for writing such a wonderful book and giving us all a happily ever after - especially for Sam!
review 2:... more> I do not remember who brought this book to my notice but it has been in my tbr for quite some time and I ended up loving it. The heroine Hannah comes from a traumatized past, she witnessed her mother's murder when she was a little girl, her dad was too busy so she rebelled as a teenager but she is more settled now in the school she manages then the hero walks into her life on the pretext of writing a book.In reality the hero John is a FBI agent on leave and who needs the heroine to clear her dad's name because the world thinks that his dad, the lover of the heroine's mother, murdered her mother and so did John for a long time but now he knows different.I must admit the hero's deception didn't sit well with me for a long time but I did enjoy the chemistry between the two. The heroine's kind of boyfriend who is kind of a criminal is in the picture and so is his troubled son.Overall the book despite the many players pulled me in. Recommended. less
