review 1: This book had amazing illustrations made out of watercolors and India ink! The story was about four men; David, Joseph, Franklin, and Ezell who sat at Woolworths lunch counter in North Carolina. They were college students who wanted to stand against segregation in America. Once the town saw what the men were doing other began to follow along and joined together to protest. They took a stand for the civil rights moment. Quotes in the book are very inspiring! Read this book Miss Benton!

This was the time period of Brown VS Board Of Education or the Civil Rights Act. These four students were denied service al... morel because of the color of their skin. They were practicing Martian Luther King's by peaceful protest. The book uses watercolor for the art, and the illustrations are very bright, and detailed! Very moving book! less
