Leerla se hace una delicia, aumentada por las pinceladas de humor, filosofía y política. El hecho de que aparezcan personajes famosos de la época la hace muy atractiva desde el punto de vista visual (no hay nada mejor que mientras lees esta increíble novela imaginarte la sonrisa plena y alegre de Marilyn).
review 2: Wow. From the title, one might expect this book to be all fluff...at least that's what I expected. Wrong! The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe gave my brain a workout! Packed with references to philosophers and literary giants, not to mention excellent writing, it was actually a treatise on the h... moreuman condition - from a dog's perspective. I wonder if it shouldn't be required reading for any Philosophy 101 class... The characters were well-drawn and full of life, and perfectly captured. Just don't read it when you're tired...you want to be wide awake and alert for this one! less
