review 1: I read this book cover-to-cover and made whatever recipe I had ingredients for along the way, and everything was great. Excellent basic recipes and techniques - though, as in all of these "gourmet raw" books, fat heavy. I wouldn't suggest this is at your first raw food book because you definitely need to have the raw food equipment to really enjoy the recipes: high-speed blender, food processor, probably a personal blender and a smaller food processor, too... and a dehydrator, which I don't have , so I haven't tried any of the recipes you need to dehydrate, but this cookbook has really made me want to buy one!

But I didn't get the feeling of someone calling what is clearly a salad: a pizza or spaghetti; or what is clearly a smoothy: some time awesome sauce or dip. I liked the connection to Korean cooking in some parts. I may not agree with the raw foods lifestyle but I can't wait to try some of the recipes when I get home and have the necessary kit. less
