review 1: My review from Audible:"Looking for love in all the wrong places"Is there anything you would change about this book?Decrease the casual sexWould you be willing to try another book from Ann Charles? Why or why not?Yes, the story was a fun listen. What about Lisa Larsen’s performance did you like?Good mix of characters, especially the male voicesIf this book were a movie would you go see it? probably notAny additional comments?Seems like the most important story line is the search for sexual gratification, rather than the actual mystery...detracts from the story. No wonder the place is called Jackrabbit Junction. Reminds me of a time years ago when my mother told a male relative that he had "morals of a jackrabbit."
review 2: This is the 3rd book in this series.
... more I think this one is the best. It gets into Claire's family and all their antics. I really liked the sheriff in this one. It brings into play Claire's sisters and all the problems with the mother who shows up unwanted by the girls and their grandfather. It really tells a lot of each character's personality and phobias. Two things in this one is Sheriff "Hardass" and his constance in just showing up, and Manny and his love machine, that brings extra humour in the mix. Good book! less
