review 1: Its a good thing I'm reading an ebook, because this book is so bad, I want to throw it across the room and it was free. The characters are totally undeveloped and the narration and dialogue is just silly season. The writing itself was decent, it was the dialogue that was so stupid. I didn't like the heroine at all. She was totally silly and the scenes were totally unrealistic and most of it was predictable. I couldn't wait to finish it so I could move on to something else worth my while.
review 2: A 2.5 Star not that it was bad or anything but the story was flat as the synopsis is already a dead give away to what will happen. Also Sloane Porter character was so contradictory to what she sometimes think or do, perhaps it's her emotion doing it but hey she confus... moreed me at some points. David Grant owner of Grant Oil was a so-so guy for me as he had his own problems to deal with but he was genuinely attracted to Sloane and wants to get to know her, i also like that he did not hire her then date her as opposed to some billionaire or millionaire or whatever rich guys do to get the girl so that's a new turn for a plot but then again the story is flat i say you can read this when your bored and waiting. less
