review 1: A cute, light read that is perfect if your looking for a short read on a snowy night. Ella is a romance Arthur who is going up to her cabin in the mountain to write without distractions ( phones,TV,Internet) finds a man in a snowstorm walking and freezing. The man turns out to be Brady a Rock star who acts conceited, and is an egotistical jerk. Brady can't believe that Ella has no clue who he is. Together they are stranded in a cabin with a blizzard outside and no outside communication.
review 2: A short but sweet romance 4 starsI really enjoyed this book. It’s not very long and I easily read it in one sitting. Ella went to her cabin in the woods in the beginning of November where there was TV or internet so that she could get some much needed writing co... morempleted. Being a self-published author she made a decent living but wasn’t well known. She liked it that way though because while she had some dedicated followers no one really knew who she was since she wrote under an assumed name so only the people in her small town really knew her.Brady on the other hand is famous “rock star” He is constantly hounded by the paparazzi and often finds strange women in his bed that had finagled there way there through money or sexual favors. Brady is tired of living in hotels and just wants to get away for a while so that he can work on his new album. When his bodyguard has the idea to rent one of his cousins cabin in the woods for the month he’s all for it. Needless to say, things didn’t go as planned.I didn’t like Brady at first because he seemed so stuck on himself but Ella often put him in his place and since she wasn’t a crazed fan that was after him he soon realized what a jerk he was being and settled down. They were able to become friends and with no TV or internet they talked a lot and got to know each while snow bound together in between each of them working in separate rooms to give each other privacy. I enjoyed the way that they got along and especially the way that Ella knocked Brady down off of his high horse. LOL! less
