review 1: A fascinating story of alien domination and their historical manipulation of human evolution. This is a continuation of Mia and Korum's story. A very intriguing one, but lacking that special something that transforms the written word into the racing pulse and heated tension of the reader. The plot is sure to entertain, but the hero and heroine deserve much more lusty passion. Maybe it's all in what's not said/revealed than in what is? I think there is a point where one can say or illustrate too much, literally. Then all imagination is gone or not needed, and nothing is left to speculate or fantasize about. Therefore, the intimate scenes were just repititious and boring, which made for a longer story than wanted.
review 2: BEST BOOK OF THE SERIESIn this third an... mored possibly the final instalment, the story starts to hot up and I'm not just referring to the hot sex scenes.Korum has been just fabulous throughout the three books. In this one we get his POV for the first time, giving us a insight into what he thinks and how he feels. Mia is slightly less annoying but not by much!The traitor ups his plan and Korum and Mia are in more danger than ever before. But will his plan succeed or is Korum too strong of an adversary. Mia's family feature more in this story as well. The sci fi aspects of this whole series have been superb, I loved all the world building and fabulous gadgets. Looking at the authors website I see we can look forward to another book a prequel, but it's about a new couple. No date yet for when it's due. Overall this series has been an interesting read. less
