review 1: I enjoy these books. Why? I don't know. I don't usually like sci fi meets romance but I like reading how the relationship between korum and a human blossom. There is mystery here. Who is really plotting against them. Who is the good guys and bad guys. I'm excited to see what happening here. I will continue to the next book. The author put a lot of thought to the k's history and technology. Could you imagine hot ads aliens coming to earth and living with us and one falling in love with you while throwing you in t h e middle of a brewing war and you don't really know who's who? Love it
review 2: ALIEN LOVEWhat I liked about this second book in this series is, how it follows on exactly from book 1 it's almost as though you've just turned the page. There's no borin... moreg recap of book 1 wasting the readers time going over old ground.The focus in this story features mostly on Korum and Mia's developing relationship. They have now arrived at Lenkarda one of the Krinar's settlements. Here Mia is astounded at the Krinar's advanced technology. The trial of the traitors from the first book is happening although there's not too much detail about that. New characters are introduced whom I'm sure will play a part later.Overall this is better than the first book IMO. Except for Mia, she's a weak character for me, she never asks the right questions of Korum IMO. Which I found frustrating, and why she's portrayed a a Whiney teenager is annoying. I think the heroine should have been older with a little more life experience. There are parts of this that are repetitive. Especially the sex scenes, her belly clenching, he's so big, his forceful entry so on and so on. And on to the last book. This one three and a half stars from me. less
