review 1: 50 Shades meets vampires from space. And not done in an interesting way.Mia is a 21 year old, shy, introverted, bookworm virgin with a "sexual allure" that she's unaware of. Some will say that she, the cliche one dimension that she is, will grow on you. I cry false! I made it into the 40% and could not finish. She doesn't grow at all, and the male lead is so uninteresting and lacking that I can't even recall his name. And I just set it down... seriously.Don't bother.
review 2: Book 1 in this series and currently free on Amazon.I enjoyed this book and really liked Korum, the alien k from another planet who falls for Mia the human. He's possessive and bossy and its obvious he has feelings he doesn't understand towards Mia.Of course there are people who don't want... more the k's living on earth. The resistence contact Mia when they learn she's involved with Korum. After all, he's one of the most important and powerful of the K. And being the naive girl she is, she believes them. Will Korum be liked because of her actions?Overall, it's a good book and leaves you wanting more of Mia and Korum's story. less
