review 1: Really liked the concept and the heroine. She's former FBI but has had her memory 'bleached' to forget about her parents' murder. There were numerous quick point of view changes in the second half of the book that were jarring. At first, I thought the author was doing that to show the lingering effects of the bleaching on the characters. But that wasn't the case.And there were a few plot points that didn't quite hold up, but all in all, I enjoyed it. I would certainly read something else by this author.
review 2: Before I Wake by Anne Frasier is a quick paced thriller. It involves Arden, an ex-FBI agent, who goes back to catch a killer. The killer was put to death but admited to not killer Arden's parents. This brings her back to the Hill, where all of this ... moretoke place before and is forced to rember so unwanted things. Most which involve project TAKE (Through a Killers Eyes). The killer is sort of shocking. The novel is very well written. less
