review 1: This second collection of sex industry-themed short stories didn't enthrall me as much as the first one did. There were still stories that really spoke to me, but overall the quality was a little bit lower. Not in terms of writing skills, that way it was actually better this time, but in terms of realistic and gripping storylines. There were a bit too many instant ILY's (which I'm ALLERGIC to) and a few too many sappy endings. You don't get the full story in a short story, and you're not supposed to...not in a good one anyway!My favorite story was probably "The Meaning of Perfection" by Taylor Lochland. But I also enjoyed "See Me, Feel Me" by Zahra Owens and "Dance for Me" by Maria Albert. All of these stories were sweet but not too sweet. They didn't romanticize the notio... moren of prostitution, but they didn't focus on the 'rescuing' part that so many other stories do.My least favorite story was "Package Boy" by Connie Bailey, because it was just all-round confusing and sticky sweet, and the characters were introduced in such ways that I didn't care for them all that much.I have found some authors that I'd love to read more by after reading the two anthologies in this series. So that's as good a reason as any to pick up either one of them!
