review 1: Sitting in a doctor's office gives you plenty of time to read while you're waiting for them to finish up with your child. This morning, it enabled me to finish up this story. I found it to be more annoying than anything else, as it seemed to follow the same pattern as the first book, just with a different hero and heroine, along with a different problem that had to be addressed. What I liked about this one was the uniqueness of the heroine, especially in the face of her agoraphobia. What I didn't like was the whole "forced" feel of the story. I've read several of the author's other works, and they're humorous without being obvious or forced about it. This series just feels off, as if they weren't really what the author wanted to write. I hate to say it, but I thin... morek it will be a while, if ever, I finish the third book in the series.
review 2: Good read - very little overlap to the previous entry in this series [Naked Dragon] so it could be read very easily as a standalone. I must admit that I liked Naked Dragon better, probably because I like dragons better than angels, but it is still an excellent read - full of her quirky characters, humor, and set in the small towns of New England. Works Like Magick#1 Naked Dragon#2 Bedeviled Angel#3 Vampire Dragon - due out April 2011 less
