review 1: I got this book free on Amazon so it took me a little while to read because well let's face it, I'm always a little skittish when it comes to the freebies. While I do LOVE a free book I just never know what to expect. Anyway this book started off strong for me and it definitely had me wanting to see where it was going. I mean I couldn't stop reading because I just had to know the how's and why's of it all but the more information I got the stranger things became until some of it just seemed to outlandish. Will I read anymore from this series? Maybe, just because the way the author left things. I mean I would like to know what happens to Cassie and Ethan. After all I have already put this much time into I might as well see where things go from here.
review 2: I'... morem not really sure how to rate this one. It was intriguing and bizarre but the ending was a complete cliffhanger and I have more questions now then I did at the beginning of the story. Now I feel compelled to get the next book, and probably all of them, just so I can get the complete story. The atmosphere was great, definitely creepy. I was not expecting the twists and am generally confused on some of the story and what it all means. This is definitely not your fashion plate model dollhouse, more like a demented carnival with clowns and evil toys. less
