review 1: A short but very sweet story about two ex-best friends who are too competitive for their own good. Chris and Dylan fell out when they were 16 but as adults, Dylan finds himself in a spot of bother and has no choice but to ask Chris for help. Dylan takes the opportunity to have the upper hand and have Dylan owe him. They overhear two boys arguing that even if two people hate each other, by the time they've shared 500 kisses they'll be crazy about each other. The two men who always have to be right, take on a bet and set about disproving the theory....
review 2: I was pleasantly surprised by this short story! The author did a good job of weaving in glimpses of the past - events, miscommunications, lack of communication and hurt feelings - to show the reader wha... moret brought the MC to where they are in the present. This gave the story much more depth than I expected. A truly enjoyable read of childhood friends to lovers which spanned years. I definitely recommend this sweet story! less
