review 1: It was hard to connect with the characters of this story. Maybe their experiences is too remote. Quinn is a singer who is coming to terms with the aftermath of a kidnapping, ummm, sorry can't really find this believable and I think, for me, to connect with a character you have to find them believable. I think the relationship that develops between Quinn and Josh, his PA, is interesting; I liked how Josh takes care of Quinn's needs both emotionally and medically (and, sure, his physical needs too). I almost gave this a 2, but since the ending got me "awwwwwwing", I gave it a 3 :).
review 2: Quinn is a famous rock star that has recently gone through being mistaken for someone else, kidnapped and held for ransom under horrid conditions. He is holding on by a thre
... moread as he tries to make it through his concert series. Josh is Quinn's new PA who takes one long look at Quinn and realizes two things: Something is not right with Quinn and that Josh is very attracted to his new boss. Fortunately Quinn is attracted to Josh too. In fact, it is their tender relationship that carries Quinn through though he keeps Josh in the dark until the inevitable happens. It is a well plotted short story with good strong characters who I really enjoyed getting to know. I liked it so well that I wish it could have been drawn out into a novel-length story.Recommend! less
