review 1: An entertaining short story with a realistic premise about an injured ex-FBI agent. The description of Griff's pain and frustration is well done, as is Sean's tenderness for him during this time (without being over-the-top) I liked both men and got just enough background to feel and emotional attachment to both. The scene at the hospital is well done, as is Sean's emotional aftermath. There's just a lot packed inside this little gem that I enjoyed.
review 2: A good read with a well thought out plot that flowed well for a short story. Griff Rieckert is an ex-FBI agent with a messed up knee. Griff wakes up after a blackout night of drinking next this gorgeous guy and tries to remember what happened. The hot hunk turns out to be a pediatrician, Sean Avery. Griff ... moreis passing through life aimlessly since his accident and forced retirement but life can take a turn for the better. I wish the story had been longer. Really liked the two main characters, Griff and Sean. less
