review 1: Some romance but this book is mostly focused on family. The gay couple seemed very cute together and their relationship was a slow burning one with a couple years to develop though still exciting. We get to see them struggle with insecurities, racism and a new born baby girl. Like their relationship, the plot took some time developing and there was some frustrating times. The end was a sweet and happy one and worked perfectly.
review 2: I wasn't sure what I would think of this story. I enjoyed watching two men who thought they would never be fathers adjust to having a child. Watching the two fall in love after having lived together for three years was fun. I did think we didn't get enough background on the two men and some of the story was a little shallow.
... more The story had a slow build up that was different than what I usually read but made the story good. less

It's read like a baby-care manual. Too much information dump made the story dry and boring.
