review 1: As far as black and white graphic novels go this one didn't do it for me. I felt like there weren't enough difference in the way the characters were drawn, which made it slightly confusing for me. The story however, was probably more like a 3.5 stars. I liked that it was simple and highlighted the important parts of this "lost Beetles" life in Germany, during the early 60's. An interesting read, just not my favorite style of art. (The art for me was a 2 stars)

Likewise, NOT being a big Beatles fan, I didn't necessarily come to the story with enough to understand the significance of Astrid nor Stuart. In other words, it needed just a little more, as it was almost too stripped down. less

Story of the Beatles in Hamburg when Best & Sutcliffe were still involved. So sad and so good.
