review 1: A Moth to a Flame was a great read concerning a young girl named Raven who went against her parents wishes & dated a thug who cared nothing about her. Although Raven had everything a girl could want, her love for Mizan overpowered everything else. Once she realized his true intentions, lives had been lost & hers severely damaged. In the end a devastating mistake was made. Truly a good book & highly recommended.
review 2: This book is very well written. The author is fairly new to me and while I love her writing style, the jury is still out as to whether I'll read more of her works or not. I don't normally read this genre of fiction (urban) but the premise of this story was interesting. I fell in love with Ethic, Raven's true love. I guess it is a compliment
... more to the author that I was on pins and needles throughout this entire book. I felt like I was in the middle of all the madness that was Raven's life. How could one young person experience so much pain and trauma is beyond me. I found myself really rooting for her to find some sort of happiness. This is a cautionary tale to every young girl on what can happen to your life making just ONE wrong decision. Raven's one mistake cost her everything. How sad! less
