review 1: It was in the thriller genre, but I did not really find it a page-turner. as a thriller, it got blogged down in the middle, although the end, after Emma's death went at a faster pace. This book had romance and a lot about relationships and the difficulties facing college-age people, between love, the pain of rejection, issues with body image, and family relationships. Over-all I liked it and would another book by this author.
review 2: This book was the classic tale of what happens when you unknowingly invite a nut into your life. Katherine is a freshman at UVA and Emma is her dorm roommate. At first appearance Emma appears to be smart, pretty, and a lot of fun to hang around. Actually she is a gold-digging liar who will say and do anything to get what she want
... mores. So when Emma sets her sights on Katherine's brother Ben she and his friends have to set there sights on saving Ben from the poisonous Emma and himself. less
