review 1: Baby Bear Counts One is a new counting book beautifully executed by author/illustrator Ashley Wolff. Finding and counting the objects will make a great game but the rich illustrations and enchanting text help readers linger to look just a little longer and talk about what they see. The beautiful linoleum block illustrations draw the reader and listener in to another world deep in the forest. This is a book to savor. For ages 3-7.
review 2: I have to admit that I read this book to my husband because he was teasing me that I was reviewing it. We had a blast. We were laughing while we were doing it because the book was so dang adorable and if I can interact with a 57 year old man while reading it, it is a no brainer that one can interact with a young child.
