review 1: synopsis:zach is driving his bubby's car from seattle to boulder, colorado for hannukah. his lover, austin, a mechanic, is along for the ride, although he didn't know that they were going in this ancient car. austin has wanted zach to move in with him, but zach is nervous about it because austin has temper and zach has had a couple of bad relationships in the past, so he feels that he always choses the wrong men. along the way, they have the car broken into, a head gasket blown (not code), snowstorm of epic proportions, zach gets kidnapped in a carjacking in the middle of the snowstorm. they also have a fight or two with each other. what i liked: the existing relationship. and bubby seemed really cool.what i didn't like: there was a LOT jammed into a little. zach was sudde... morenly all right with austin moving in, even though nothing had really changed.
review 2: This is the story about Zach and Austin, whi take a road trip to drive the car of Zach´s grandmother from Seattle to Boulder, Colorado. They have been together about six months, and although Austin knows he is in the relationship for the long haul, Zach is unsure. He hopes that this trip will give him the answer.Some parts of this book felt a little over the top. So many things happen to the guys during their trip. It starts with little things and then snowballs into bigger things. What I really liked about this book was the two main characters. They felt so real, with their different personalities and their good and bad traits and their insecurities. Their relationship also felt very real and I liked the interaction between the two. less
