review 1: The perfect balance between dark and light.I'm usually a bit reserved when it comes to dark erotic romance. I think the limits are really thin and that everything can go really wrong when the author tries to convince the reader that the consent of the body came before the consent of the mind, and therefore it isn't an abusive relationship. In this case there was perfect narration and I did not feel that the girl was being abused in any way.Audrey really convinced me that the heroin wanted what was happening, so I found this book really, reallyyyy gooooddd and HOT!
review 2: Wow what an ending! I was actually a little shocked at what happened toward the ending. I read this book in a morning and couldn't put "His" down until I was finished reading. Gavriel (Ga
... morev) and Kat are 2 broken individuals from things that happened to them when they were young. Gav is definitely twisted. Kat is lonely. Kat has the scars showing on her arms showing that she once upon a time tried to leave this world. Now you need to go and read their stories.I often question myself and wonder why I love reading all these dark books and I haven't been able to answer that yet but, I do love them. I loved this book "His" I had another one of my Goodreads friends recommend it to me and I am glad she did. Thank you D. You know who you are. His is definitely a DARK book. And, has some Wow & OMG moments. I have already pre-ordered Aubrey Dark's next book Mine and can't wait to start it!.Make sure you read the warning to this book and don't buy it if it hits a trigger for you. This is a DARK book, there is a lot of HOT sex as well. less
