review 1: Part 8 Warning if you haven't read parts 1-7 then i suggest doing so before reading this to get the full effect of the story and characters.So after part 7 ended with Jacobs's mother tring to pay Leila to get out of his life, we get to find out what happened next. We get more emotional drama from Leila and Jacob's ongoing relationship. All filled with love, lust, arguments, people trying to break them up, friends to lean on, and more. Oh and Rachel is back attempting her b**chy ways to separate them so she can have Jacob back. We get another scene with his mother that doesn't end to well. The we get a restarant scene that lets just say was intresting and not all in a good way. Oh and L and J have a "cafe" scene which turns carnal. I guess make up sex does do a body good. N... moreot going to spoil anything but the ending..oh my what is Rachel going to do now?Part 9 again can't wait.
review 2: For the love of god & all things sane. Ava you're killing me, 4 more parts to come. I'm so captivated by this roller coaster of a love story. What started 8 parts ago as a contract between a Dom & A Sub, has now turned into this monumental struggle for them to find their happiness. These short stories.Starting my comments at the ending, thankyou for leaving this part in a HEA spot. All of the others had been left in the cliffhanger style & it's quite exhausting with the wait for the next book to be released. This being said, oh my doesn't Rachael Laraby just piss all off. Leila & Jacob have been through so much to get to this point. Is it just me or is nearly everyone that surrounds them as nutty as a fruit cake.I'm cheering with this warm fuzzy spot you left me in till the next part. Thankyou for this, I so much love the HEA moments. I in my mind, even though I have someone in my life still believe there could be more. But unlike Rachael, I have dignity & do not chase what's not mine. I think the only other sane person in this story is Leila's friend Megan, thank god she has someone to ground her. Just not sure what's up with Megan & her texting Cade, but I suppose that's something for the future troubles to come.I understand why Jacob said what he did to Rachael in the past, in the heat of the moment & as a result of his childhood memories. Just goes to show that the truth is always the best, in both what he said to her & how much he revealed to Leila about the past. Almost like bunny boiler time, when it comes to Rachael believing what she wants & not the truth.But I believe even though I know there will be more trouble, Leila & Jacob will get their happy ever after. Waiting with a happy heart this time for more of this fantastic love story. Hot hot hot, love, passion, sex, bring it on, more, more, more. less
