review 1: An entertaining little read with an endearing protagonist. This read was just sheer enjoyment. Ellis used a cute little pop quiz device to begin each chapter that actually proved really integral to the story. I gave it four stars because the middle was a little soggy. A little too much time spent adulating each other. A little too much telling instead of showing. Kylie, the viewpoint character, told us at least 20 times how sexy Harrison looked. I guess I am in favor of painting the picture and letting the reader draw her own conclusions. But overall, lots of fun, and well written, too.
review 2: This book drew me in from the very beginning. Kylie Reed has spent her life dreaming of what could be instead of living it. Literally falling into the lap of her dream
... more man, gorgeous hockey star Harrison Flynn, finally gives her the push she needs to make her dreams come true. That is not to say the journey will be easy. Ms. Ellis does a wonderful job of taking us through Kylie's internal struggles with her desire for Harrison as well as her desire to own her own business. Both ventures come with a myriad of drawbacks, but also the potential of a lifetime of happiness. Will Kylie find the strength and determination to pursue her dreams? I won't tell! But I will say this book is filled with joy, humor and just a little bit of heartbreak. You will not want to put it down! less
