review 1: The only reason I gave it two stars is because of the hot sex scenes. That's it. The rest truly didn't do it for me. It was wayyy too fast-paced. I mean, let's be realistic for just a minute, who falls in love after one weekend together and then 6 months apart? And on that same note, Radford is made out to be this cruel and heartlessly brilliant lawyer who is a fierce playboy and bad boy as well, but I honestly didn't see any traces of this throughout the book. All I saw was a lovesick boy who continuously chased after a very difficult and often annoying girl. There was no building of the foundation of their relationship, and therefore I really didn't feel any kind of connection between the two characters. Oh, and what I really hated was how they think the same exact thoug... morehts about each other right when they first meet (literally word for word). Could it get any cheesier?! Really disappointing.
review 2: I loved this book and I loved Radford and Allie. This is a story about soul mates. These two were meant to be together, Allie is probably one of my favorite heroines, she is smart, funny, beautiful, flirty and seriously in touch with her sexual needs. She is every mans fantasy in the bedroom, she doesn't hold back and isn't afraid or too shy to get what she wants and how she wants it. Allie is no virginal wallflower. The sex between these two is HOT and real and you'll need to change your panties after reading it. ; ) it will have you seeing fireworks. Radford... What a guy he is.... He's basically Allie in male form. What he wasn't was molested as a child, no evil druggie mother or alcoholic father and no need for BDSM like so many other writers are writing about these days. This story is just about Radford and Allie and their developing relationship. I highly recommend this book. I read it in one day because I just couldn't put it down. less

Out of my element, but Exley can write. She'll go mainstream someday and blow everyone away.
