review 1: Offers a lot of insight on topics that typically come up in discussions with my mom friends. Honest and heartfelt look at hard subjects like abortion and child behavior issues. Very opinionated lady, sometimes comes across as full of herself, but that's probably why it's an interesting memoir to read! The whole "I don't understand why women are always complaining about their husbands because mine is so awesome" got pretty old, especially for a cynic like myself.
review 2: A good read for the liberal at heart looking for a lighthearted confessional the speaks to the anxieties around parenting all ages of children. Touches the tough and the light in a quick read. For me as a FTM to a newborn provided some much needed stress relief just taking some downtime to rea... mored about motherhood, laughed, teared up, learned a lesson or two and walked away with feeling better than before! less
