review 1: VB Rose is such a cute story, all drama and fluff, the very definition of shoujo manga! Ageha appears to be incapable of leaving well enough alone. It's great that Kuromine and his little brother are reconciled! I wonder if she'll eventually be able to fix things between Yukari and his mom - she seems like the type to keep trying until things work out. It's great that both she and Yukari figured out they love each other, I wonder if either of them will ever do anything about it? It's so cute how jealous Yukari gets whenever she shows even the slightest affection towards another guy; however, he's so violent when he's angry, even if it is drawn in chibi style! No wonder all the other part-time girls quit! Good thing Ageha's got a hard head! I'm looking forward to the nex... moret book, this series is so cute that it's irresistible!
review 2: This series is strangely addictive. I thought it would be fun shoujo fluff, but I'm actually really enjoying the story and the characters. The chemistry between Ageha and Yukari is terrific, and all of the supporting characters add so much depth and humor. Such fun reading. And I also thought the romance between Ageha and Yukari would be slow building (since the series is like 17 volumes long), but already at the end of volume 3 we start to see love interest from both Ageha and Yukari. Yay! less
