review 1: I don't remember which volume the blue rose was mentioned, but I wanted it to be known that they do exist. I'm fairly certain they existed when this was released, but that is beside the point. Anywho- they are (or at least were a few years ago) a popular flower to be used in Russia for weddings. They are really pretty from a distance. The dye used to make the petals blue actually eats away at the flower leaving it looking bruised and a little beaten. They might not be a flower may florists would recommend to be used, but they really are unique and fun to see.
review 2: VB Rose is a manga series I learned about from my friend Snow, and she guessed that my love of crafts and sewing would make me a good fit for VB Rose. She was right. A high schooler with a... more gift for designing bags happens to work at a custom bridal shop run by two young men who make extraordinary wedding dresses. I don't love this series as much as I love Kitchen Princess, the first manga series to catch my attention, but I do enjoy it, and eagerly await the next installment. less
