review 1: I really enjoyed this story from the first page and wanted to find out what happened to the characters Joanna and Ryder. I loved the writing style and the little details about both characters and their careers. There was a sense of humor, it was exciting and there was a sexual chemistry between the characters that was sizzling. The only down side for me would be the fact that Barbara does an excellent job of setting the scene and creating the sexual tension but then the love making is flat and I found that disappointing.
review 2: Excellent story that engaged. The book itself is old, written during the 1980s or 1990s, and there are moments when it shows. But it does not diminish from the underlying story. There are a few more typos than should be excused, bu... moret I assume that is part of the process that turned it into an ebook and none were truly disrupting the flow of the story.The story itself was exciting and yet also plausible. I'd pass it along. less
