review 1: Fun book to read, especially for a knitter, but the book suffers from a common practice among romance books: the last couple pages when all the mysteries are explained, the reader apparently isn't suppose to care that the details of the mystery (in this case, the murder) don't really fully make sense because they're (presumably) so wrapped up in the romance. For example (spoiler alert), the reason Suzanne was killed was why?... Because Dane was talking with her and his mother didn't like him flirting with a human? Weak. Also, why did Luke decide to leave at the end of the book? He'd said he wanted to live in a small town and was happy to leave Boston. I think it was just written that way to give the book the big "He changed his mind" moment at the end. A fun read, but ... morenot very deep or interesting.
review 2: A cute fluffy romance with yarn and magic and elves and fairies and, and, and... I liked the concept so much that I wanted a somewhat more realistic story. The love story is fun (sparks when they touch, etc.) but I would have loved for the romance to have actually developed over more in-story time. I'm reading the second in the series now, so apparently I liked it enough, I just can't give it more than an 'okay' rating of 3 out of 5. less

Did not finish this. It was too hard to follow and the plot did not hold my attention.

Loved this series, especially enjoyable if you are a knitter.

Had potential but then it got all rushed and ended short.
