review 1: OMGosh! After book two and three, I was worried about book 4. However, it blew me away. Somehow, it was even better than book 1. There is mystery, romance (just a touch), magic, adventure, action, action, action, and more action. I found myself falling behind on school work so I could finish this book. I just couldn't put it down. Each time I found a spot that make me snooze, more excitement would happen.Spells & Stitches was full of family chaos, new born weariness, commitment issues, and devoted love. Truly wish there was another book in the series, if it were this book, I would have it in a heartbeat! Epic read!
review 2: The last in the series, this book was a bit of disappointment. The story opens with Sugar Maple being restored and it appears that everyone
... more is at peace and settled back into their magick community. Chloe is in the final weeks of her pregnancy. Her very human boyfriend, Luke, has managed to keep his relationship (and Chloe's pregnancy) a secret from his family until that is, they converge on the small town.On a trip to meet the rest of Luke's very large, nosy and loud family, Chloe goes into labor and delivers her baby in the back seat of Luke's jeep. The rest of the story involves keeping Luke's family at bay so they don't see the real community of Sugar Maple, evil Fae trying to steal the baby, and a health crisis for the baby.I felt this story lacked something compared to the other three novels in the series. Sometimes it felt like Bretton was just writing it to get it done. I think she could have written a stronger ending-this one leaves so many questions and open doors. Perhaps a second series is being planned that focuses on baby Laria and how she comes into her powers. less

loved this series from start to finish. I hope she writes another book about these characters.

Loved it as much as the 3 previous ones in the series. I am just a sucker for romance!

Probably would have liked it better if I read them in order.
