review 1: This was a very odd book. It was not a mystery and it was not really fiction/literature. Not sure what it was but it was a very difficult book to read and finish. I could not connect with the characters - they acted in the most odd and self-destructive ways. I had the feeling that it was a carry-on from an earlier book. Perhaps if I had read that book, I would have felt differently about this one. As it is, as a standalone book I cannot recommend it.
review 2: Safe Keeping is the story of what happens when a family is shattered by suspicion of murder. When Emily and Roy Lebay's son, Tucker, is suspected of murdering a couple of young women, Emily will do anything to prove his innocence, Tucker and Roy already have a very strained relationship, and it is pr
... moreetty well severed when Roy believes Tucker is guilty. Emily and her daughter LIssa are determined to learn the truth and clear Tucker. This is an intense, emotional novel that kept me riveted. less
